Movie Review:

Ada yang tak beres dengan misi penyelamatan kali ini. Meski Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) adalah mantan polisi namun tetap saja ada yang tidak seharusnya terjadi dalam kasus ini. Nick sepertinya sengaja mengatur jalannya misi penyelamatan ini, tapi untuk apa?Ada yang melihat Nick berdiri di atas gedung bertingkat dan segera memanggil polisi untuk menangani kasus ini. Sesampainya di lokasi, barulah polisi tahu kalau pria di atas gedung bertingkat itu adalah Nick, mantan polisi yang kini memilih hidup di dunia hitam.

Kali ini Lydia Anderson (Elizabeth Banks) yang ditugaskan untuk membujuk Nick agar mengurungkan niatnya terjun dari atas gedung bertingkat itu. Awalnya Lydia memperlakukan Nick layaknya korban namun seiring berjalannya waktu, kecurigaan mulai muncul. Nick sepertinya sengaja mengulur waktu. Sepertinya Nick memang sedang merencanakan sesuatu dan misi penyelamatan ini hanyalah satu bagian kecil dari rencana

Nick cassidy (Sam Worthington), berdiri diketinggian sebuah Hotel, orang-orang berdatangan ingin menyaksikan rencana bunuh dirinya dengan melompat, namun berkat Lydia Anderson (Elizabeth Banks) seorang polisi wanita yang ditugaskan untuk melakukan negosiasi dengan cassidy, aksi itupun tidak berjalan mulus, Lydia mencoba untuk menyadarkan Nick.

Sementara itu adiknya Joe Cassidy (Jemie Bell) dan kekasihnya Angie  (Genesis Rodrigues), sedang melakukan operasi penyusupan ke  sebuah  gedung diseberangnya milik seorang pengusaha yang kaya raya bernama  David englander (Ed Hariss) Waktu terus berjalan Joe dan Angie telah  berhasil menyusup keruang yang sangat rahasia yang dijaga sangat ketat.  sebuah gudang penyimpanan berlian milik Englander, sementara Nick  terus mengulur-ulur waktu dengan poilisi cantik, sambil  menarik perhatian masyarakat, aksinya pun disiarkan langsung  oleh Televisi.
